Company History

Dar Group of Companies (The Group) was founded by Mr. Arshad Iqbal Dar, (The Chairman) – a dynamic businessman. It started its operation as a trading house on a small scale in the year 1987 by opening an office at Poonch House Rawalpindi. Initially it concentrated its efforts on exporting surgical instruments. In order to meet the stringent export quality standard and growth in the business it installed its own manufacturing unit at Sialkot for preparing quality surgical instruments.

By the year 1990 it had also entered into the field of import and supply of electronic and communication equipment and components. Subsequently it was proven that it was the right decision at right time – to cope with the tremendous growth in the sector of telecommunication it had developed business associations with various foreign stockists & Principals and worked as their agent/distributor in Pakistan to fulfil the requirements of the local market.

Visualizing the scope & demand of professional cleaning equipment & hygiene systems, DAR INTERNATIONAL entered into an agency agreement with one of the world’s largest cleaning equipment manufacturer – Numatic International Limited, UK. With a professional approach, an aggressive marketing strategy and an uninterrupted after sales service record, DAR INTERNATIONAL successfully attained the status of being the leading supplier of cleaning equipment throughout Pakistan.

The unexpected increase in business volume and ever increasing demand of cleaning equipment justified the need to create a separate company, to run the business affairs efficiently and independently. Consequently, a new company by the name of CLEANTECH (PVT) LTD was formed on January 1st, 2001.

At present DAR INTERNATIONAL (PVT) LTD and CLEANTECH (PVT) LTD are two independent entities. DAR INTERNATIONAL is a leading trading house engaged in the business of trading, indenting, imports and distribution of variety of items, whereas CLEANTECH (PVT) LTD specifically deals in the import and supply of cleaning management systems.

In order to provide on-time, effective supply and maintenance facilities to our customers, we have established our own branch offices along with workshop facilities in the major cities of Pakistan.

By the grace of Almighty ALLAH CLEANTECH (PVT) LTD has become a well known name in Pakistan. For this success, we are indebted to our clients who have reposed confidence in our products and services.

Cleantech (Pvt.) Ltd. was established on January 1st, 2001. By the grace of Almighty ALLAH, the visionary and prudent policies of the management and dedicated team work of the staff Cleantech (Pvt.) Ltd, within a short span of 5 years, has emerged as the leading supplier of Cleaning Management Systems in Pakistan. We currently have wholly owned branch offices in KARACHI, LAHORE, ISLAMABAD & RAWALPINDI.
